Imaging and Radiology

GFP now has in-house imaging technology affording quality and convenience for our patients medical imaging needs. This includes a standard-of-care level ultrasound unit capable of cardiac echo studies, echo stress testing, arterial and venous doppler, as well as a carotid and aortic vascular imaging. We also perform in-house Holter and Event cardiac monitoring for rhythm disturbance. These are performed by an experienced technician and any significant findings will be promptly reported to your primary physician.

GFP also has a bone dexometer for measuring bone density within the spine and hips providing Z and T scores for screening and gauging treatment progress.

We offer plain-film radiology services on premises for your convenience.

With these added services, we are committed to continued improvement in the scope and quality of care delivered to our patients, and to greater access and convenience in providing their health care needs.

Laboratory

For our patients' convenience, we offer complete laboratory services for some insurances. Our lab is fully compliant with CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments), is accredited by COLA, and is recognized by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). We are also accredited by the State of Florida Agency for Health Care Administration and certified in The Academy of Family Physicians Proficiency Testing, a quality assurance program.
