Billing and Insurance
Our Financial Policy
Payment is due at the time of service. A service charge of $10.00 will be added to help cover accounting costs if you choose not to pay at that time. It is the patient's responsibility to know his/her insurance benefits. Preventative medicine, physical exams, pap smears, immunizations, etc. are not covered by most insurance policies.
Benefit information can be obtained from your insurance company or through your employer's personnel department. Please keep our office updated with changes to your insurance policy. In most cases, as a courtesy to our hospitalized patients, our physician's fees for hospital services are billed directly to your insurance company.
If your insurance does not pay in a timely manner, we will expect payment from you, unless other arrangements are made with the office.
We accept Medicare assignment. If you have any questions regarding your insurance or account, please call our insurance and billing specialist at (352) 375-6836.
